LISOL are pleased to announce that,
with the assistance of Graham Paul Chartered Accountants, they have
recently raised funds to strengthen their workforce and install
their unique schools administration software into more Welsh schools.
Lisol Education Services Limited –
Lisol ES - is a specialist educational software developer. Over
the last two years in conjunction with a number of schools they
have developed a state of the art administration system for schools.
The system takes a whole school approach to the needs of pupils,
teachers and governors. For example teachers can streamline the
administration currently required such as report writing, freeing
up their time to concentrate on teaching. Similarly parents can
have access to their children’s performance – including,
for example, what homework has been set. The system is successfully
operating in a number of schools in South Wales.
Jane Davidson – Wales Assembly
Minister responsible for education - said after viewing the system
in Ysgol Gyfun Bro Morgannwg in 2002: " I think this is an
extremely interesting project. The Assembly made a huge commitment
to stop bureaucracy in schools and I am always delighted to learn
from best practice in our schools."
LISOL have now secured £50,000
with the assistance of Graham Paul. The funds will be used to market
Lisol’s unique services to headteachers throughout Wales.
Justin Tifang, Lisol’s
Chief Executive said, "We are very pleased that Graham Paul
have worked with us to develop our business. We are now entering
a new phase of expansion and they have been invaluable in business
planning and obtaining new finance. We have every confidence that
we will become a major supplier of educational software to the Welsh
market in particular and the UK in general."
